INTERESTS

I hold a keen interest in photography and videography, having produced many video-based projects related to my studies, and enjoy the creativity it involves. This provides me with motivation to travel; to see and document new cultures and places in my own way. I am currently spending 12 months in Australia for this reason. I also pride myself in keeping fit and enjoy running as part of my routine.

I have a desire to use my technical skills to better the lives of others, particularly in a medical context. I have worked on the Mobility project run by the international charity Engineers Without Borders (designing a walker for a child with cerebral palsy). I am keen to sharpen my scientific knowledge throughout all disciplines, and hold active student membership of two major healthcare science institutions in the UK; in addition to being a registered ambassador for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in UK schools.
